Mother's Day
This painting was inspired by a bouquet of peonies I received on Mother's Day. Their delicate petals and glowing pink hues immediately caught my attention, and I couldn't wait to paint them. As I worked, I focused less on creating an exact likeness and more on conveying the joy I felt when they arrived. The flowers seem to float against a rich blue background, preserving a fleeting moment of beauty and appreciation.
